Diabolo with freewheel

Diabolos with freewheels are becoming increasingly popular among players—the fast drive and much longer run give more freedom for more complex tricks.

Playing with ball bearings is also easier to learn. Many of the newer tricks were only made possible with this feature. The ball bearings encapsulated in the roller and the freewheel make the diabolo very easy to drive and allow it to run freely in one direction on the string.

The specially designed hubs show the diabolo player the direction of rotation with their different colors.

Here is a short video about the construction of our freewheel axle.

The technology

The freehub consists of two special ball bearings and a freewheel, which is enclosed by a wide roller and the two axle ends.
The freewheel makes the diabolo very easy to drive and allows it to run freely in one direction on the string – just like a bicycle without a coaster brake!
Thanks to its unique design, the dirt-sensitive components are protected and retain their smooth running throughout the Diabolo's lifetime.
