Light and robust torch with ashwood core, reinforced with an aluminium tube which extends into the handle, hence making it practically indestructable. The wooden cone (which is decorated with metallic foil) is protected with an aluminium disc from the flames; the additional rubber disc protects both cone and wick (nonasbestos!) from being damaged by ground contact. In addition, the top of the wooden core is protected by an aluminium cap. Inspite of all these extras, the weight of this 51 cm long torch is just ca. 250g.
